| Here's an important message. This is a "call to arms" of the reenacting community to help fight encroachment of the Perryville, KY battlefield. Folks can also email to cityofperryville@bellsouth.net if a long distance call is not possible. Two weeks ago the CWPT placed Perryville Battlefield on the top ten most endangered battlefield list due to a development that is set to be built on the edge of the battlefield. This development was approved by Boyle County Planning and Zoning, but the Perryville City Council still has to vote on it. You can voice your opposition by calling city hall at 859-332-8361 they are keeping a call log. The Perryville City Council will meet on this issue on April 3 at 7:00 P.M. to vote on the development. Perryville certainly needs economic development, but not on the edge of the battlefield. Please call now and voice your opposition - we need you." Many of you have passed numerous long, cold October nights on that battlefield. Lets not let them down now. This only takes one phone call. AC Users (almost 5,000 strong), we're personally asking you to pick up the phone and dial 859-332-8361 to voice your opposition. Do it now. Do it today. Paul Calloway www.authentic-campaigner.com |
| HERE'S GOOD NEWS! The Perryville City Council voted against the rezoning of land near the Perryville Battlefield. Thanks to all that responded to the urgent call for help. |
